Tuna Melt Toast

A simple grilled cheese sandwich with a twist. Healthy tuna, creamy Parmesan, spicy red onion, and tangy gherkins. Delicious!

Preparation time: 10 minutes
For: 1 person

Ingredients

  • 2 sandwiches
  • 1/2 can of tuna
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 tbsp diced gherkins
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil

Description

  1. Top a slice of bread with the tuna.
  2. Cut the red onion into rings and divide over the tuna.
  3. Sprinkle the diced gherkins and Parmesan cheese over it.
  4. Place the second slice of bread on top and brush both sides with olive oil.
  5. Heat the sandwich in a sandwich maker or pan until golden brown, turning halfway through.
